Cindy said Great book, great movie, and great audiobook. (I listened to the audible one narrated by Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens and his voice is so soothing) And the book has a really cool premise and twist.
Cindy said This is one of my favorite Sherlock Holmes stories
Cindy said My favorite novel. Jane Austen is such a master. Currently, I am planning a Skillshare class and using this book's dialogue to help describe how important good dialogue is in fiction.
Cindy said This book is amazing. Even after finishing it the first time, I wanted to read it again. It's very complex and it does a lot, but it's really fascinating and makes me wish I could write mysteries...
Cindy said Amazing story from a fellow INFP. It's weird, it's grim. It's everything I want from a Poe story.
Cindy said I freaking love this book. There are so many things I adore about friends to lovers. And I love how even though this is part of a series (which follows another connected series), that this book is still its own thing. The other characters are utilized very well. And Mollie and Jackson are freaking precious. I love how essentially, after the first 3 chapters, you already know that not only do they like each other, it's love... :)
Cindy said This book was amazing. I found it interesting that the author chose the point in the story that was sort of the perfect point to switch things up. Just after Jane and Lizzie return to Longbourn... there's a fire and Darcy shows just how heroic and good he is... falling even further in love and well, just read it. It's good.
Cindy said Now, since the proposal happens and there's only a short amount of time before they're engaged in this one. (this isn't really a spoiler because it happens right off the bat- it's sort of the point of the book.) And it seems to take a VERY long time for Lizzie to realize what the reader probably already knows from the start of the book... but I suppose that's the fun part.
Cindy said Even though I loved the show, (despite the fact that the last season and a half was frustrating and left with a big unanswered question which I'm still sort of reeling from)- I wanted to read this. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. Honestly, it's sort of dry. But I can definitely see where the show got a lot of its idiosyncrasies and its charm.
Cindy said Despite the fact that this is only partially canon now, I LOVE this novel. Not even just on a Star Wars novel. It's written in a very interesting way. For instance, "The dark is generous and it is patient, and it always wins. But love is more than a candle. Love can ignite the stars." (there might be more to this quote, but that's the gist.) beautiful writing. It's quite literary for a SW book.
Cindy said I felt like they were a real band. And the audiobook was a full-cast production :)
Cindy said Normally, I probably wouldn't like a book like this, but this was magical and amazing.
Cindy said Amazing book :)
Cindy said Amazing and creepy, but it has just enough real history, and conspiracy theories woven in... one of my favorite reads.
Cindy said Amazing book. Shorter than the last one, but spectacular and a great companion to not only The Secret History of Twin Peaks, but The Return.
Cindy said This book is so cute. It's an enemies to lovers story. It is sort of a slow burn for the first third or so and then all of a sudden it gets steamy!
Cindy said I love this story. Alliteration, darkness, an insane narrator. What more could you ask for.
Cindy said I love Miss Marple!
Cindy said I loved this book. I'd always wondered if people knew Leia was Darth Vader's kid.
Cindy said I actually read the book AFTER seeing the movie in a classic film class (the old Universal 30s version with Boris Karloff)- both are very good but VERY different!
Cindy said I love how this bridged the gap between Episode 3 and Episode 4 and also worked in Rogue One...
Cindy said This is a classic and I actually cried...
Cindy said I didn't realize that this was a book until this past Christmas... and I read it. Since this is technically a non-fiction book, so it's a little dry; I still love it. P.S. The movie is also really good.
Cindy said I loved this book. But to tell you the reason would give the plot away... so I will abstain...
Cindy said This book was really good. I was amazed when we got to the end of the book that somewhere inside of me, I'd always known who the culprit was, but the book led me in so many directions that I doubted it...
Cindy said This book is a little dry, but it's very good. You feel like you know Jane and you want her to succeed.
Cindy said This book is so quirky and fun. I actually wrote a short story which was a mash-up of concepts from this book, and two other things called- Library of Spies which is on WattPad. My screen-name is CindyrellaRenee
Cindy said I remember really liking this book. I don't remember why because I think I read it in 2013 or something.
Cindy said I remember really liking this one. I usually like his books, but this one was really spectacular.
Cindy said These books are so cozy and funny.
Cindy said This book has a really innocuous cover so I thought it would be literary fiction or chick lit or something... ooh, boy did I get a surprise... in a good way. It ends up being sort of a haunted house story. I put a post-it in my copy and told my mom not to read it because i thought it would disturb her... (it's not horrifically scary but it DID unsettle me)
Cindy said So delicious
Cindy said Thick book, but loved it.
Cindy said A fascinating book! Loved every minute of it and didn't want it to end, even though I wanted to know what happened and of course, Whodunnit....
Cindy said I actually bought this book for my mom for Christmas or her BD last year, and she read it really quickly, begged me to read it, and I did. In 4 hours... Adorable, cinnamon roll characters that I just want to be happy.
