" Gets too much hate. Marvel has made worse since. I feel like the villains actually steal the show this time. Tony is too much of a cocky drunk. While Rhodes thinks he has a right to say who deserves to wear the Iron Man suit."

"My opinion has changed drastically on this. At first, I hated this movie. But, I now see it's coolness. Yes, there are too many subplots and yes, the Avengers set up feels largely irrelevant to the rest of the story. However, seeing Black Widow take down those dudes is so cool. The recasting of Rhodes is a plus, since Don Cheadle brings Rhodes to life. The central storylines, which involve Whiplash out for revenge against Tony and the government trying to control Iron Man, are great!"

"Always great seeing Robert Downey as Iron Man. It’s obviously jarring seeing Rhodey as Don Cheadle coming from Terrence Howard in Ironman 1. However, you get used to it, sort of. The stakes feel low and the villain is odd. However, it’s an important movie to build Cheadle’s and Downey’s chemistry, which eventually carries in the series. Not my favorite, but I still enjoyed it. "
