"This set up for this is better than the execution. That first act was really interesting. She drives into the woods then has car trouble. She leaves to get help and the car disappears. Then she is forced into a bunker with 3 other people and given the rules about these creatures that watch from the other side of the 2 way mirror. Shamalan's daughter follows the formula. An intriguing set up thats a slow burn thats showed have this twist to pay things off. However as things proceed it becomes pretty obvious what the twist is. They also break some of thier own rules with the logic. It's a solid first effort. Very atmospheric and creepy....decent creature designs.
