"Few films have a diverse female cast of characters that let them be perfectly weird in reaction to the terrible world and horrifyingly inappropriate adults around them. I wasn’t happy that the cause of the girl’s death wasn’t handled more appropriately but maybe that’s what the kids in the film are reacting to, the failure of and victimization by the adults in their lives at every turn. "

"Requiem of a dream vibes, so I know this isn't going to be for everyone; however, I thought it was a beautiful representation of what people go through in life, especially when tragedy happens. Also, it shows the realism of just how twisted and complicated people can be. Great visuals, pace, perspectives, and writing but SPOILER ALERT... I had a hard time not losing it when the dead body started singing. She was in band, not choir.😂"
