"Pride Day 18: I once again return with my personal favorite sibling directing duo, The Wachowski Sisters (yes, I like them better than even The Coen Brothers). I was somewhat beat to this one by @Peachzzz but that's okay. I actually only recently watched this one and um... this movie rules. I honestly thought this was going to be a relatively average movie with the lesbian romance being the most interesting thing about it taking it from okay to good. However, it's a really solid crime thriller with a lesbian angle that takes it from good to great instead. A good lesbian crime thriller from the mid 90s directed by two trans women is, in my opinion, pretty rad."
"This movie is the only mobster movie I’ve ever watched and I was impressed. Not only do I absolutely adore Jennifer not just in this but in other things too, the romance between the two leads Violet (Jennifer Tilly) and Corky (Gina Gershon) is believable. I love to hate Cesar and how insane he is near the end of the movie, I love how quotable he is. Overall 10/10 love this movie and you probably will too. It’s a fun watch and is relatively short clocking in at 1 hour 48 minutes. Give it a try you won’t regret it."
"It’s more than a movie about lesbians. I was enjoying every second of it. I think this would appeal to people who also love crime or action movies. Would re-watch again and again. "
