"Overall it was a good movie but the storyline was a little weak"

"So is this movie so bad that it’s good or just so bad? Surprise to find out this is the same director who made “Fatal Attraction” but this isn’t as entertaining . I found myself literally laughing at a few scenes so I guess I had a little fun. But I can only watch Ben Afflect pout around making mean faces for so long. Not the worse sexy thriller I guess but if you like trashy thrillers."

"This is a messy, sexy flick filled with recklessness, games, and bad decisions that never stop being made. Melinda is a sultry, calculating woman who flaunts each of her new sexual conquests in front of Vic shamelessly, as he sticks with her no matter what, while his emotions threaten in the meantime to get the better of him as she pushes him further and further over the edge. Everything about this movie is a ticking time bomb. A seductive one at that, unafraid of casual intimacy, that reels you in further and further into the shambles of Melinda and Vic’s marriage that barely stays together.
Melinda, at every turn, loves to toy and tease and make out that Vic will never leave her because he’d be too bored married to any other woman. And the scary part is how right she could be as, pushing every limit, she stays very aware of the magnitude of power that she wields over him. A power in which he may even kill for her. However, she enjoys being wild, sexually liberated, and catching men’s attention, as she rides the high of the transient pleasure it gives her. And Ana de Armas captures all this and more. She brings Melinda’s volatility, darkness, and wasteful glamor astutely to screen, while, underneath, making room for the sadness to Melinda’s character, as Melinda seeks to fill an internal void through all her drunken escapades that, underneath all the pretense, are temporarily numbing the weighing pain.
I enjoyed every minute of this thrill ride gone wrong, except for the rushed ending, hence the half star taken away, which felt disruptive to my appreciation for how well everything else had been built up. Other than that it was steamy, scintillating, and daring in its ventures to explore a dysfunctional union between people who couldn’t be more out of a genuine love, stripped away of all the toxic elements, with each other."
