SmeetaSo much doubt… learning about Italian criminal system and the messiness of the process. Exhausting to watch… can’t trust if the integrity of data was preserved. Hard to watch so many errors.
SmeetaJake Gyllenhaal is epic in this series. **spoiler alert** hereon. Ending is SUCH a letdown. When you have captivated the viewer for almost 8 hours, don’t short change them. I was hoping for oh-what-did-I-miss moment but this part was just thrown out there with no logical link, weak dialogues and characters lacked integrity especially with how beautifully the plot was being laid out… but nonetheless, it was well done and gotta hand it to JG.
SmeetaEveryone should watch this film. Everyone. We need to start with awareness of what’s happening and atrocities we may be indirectly contributing to. This film hasn’t left me. Ashira Darwish— you are my HERO. Cried, reflected, felt pain, and left with so many questions…
SmeetaReally disturbing true crime story based in Spain that constantly makes you go back and forth between your own position. Just when you think, it can’t be— it is. Then you’re back on that roller coaster. At first, it’s unfathomable, then not so much and in the end, you just have to watch it to know. I like how they played the ‘what ifs’ — each scenario looks plausible. In the end, I’ve just been looking online because I wasn’t satisfied and needed to know more. The criminal justice system, media influence (and madness) — all playing into the narrative.
SmeetaWhat a delightful film! I saw a dialogue in some feed showing Irrfan Khan and since then, I’ve been wanting to see this film. He’s a stellar actor but Kelly MacDonald?! Whoa! Underrated film — MUST WATCH! The dialogue is approx 2 min long and an hour into the film which I’m still thinking of…
SmeetaDocuseries that involve a journalist’s (Danny Casolaro) obsession with trying to connect the dots across high ranking Govt agencies/mob/software hackers… a highly dangerous and ambitious endeavor. Incredible footage, details— SO much admiration for people that have this obsession with finding the truth at any lengths… and so much work that must have gone into making this 4-part series. My mind is still spinning from it all.
SmeetaProbably the most convoluted and disturbing true story I have ever watched. Aside from one player (Rahul, and that too maybe), you don’t believe anyone and can’t wrap my head around this. Filled with arrogance, ambition, manipulation in the upper echelons of Mumbai.
