"WOW, I had expected this series to be mediocre and really violent, but… BOY, was I wrong… This was excellent!! And not too, too brutal (gory), but, Lord Almighty, Griselda was RUTHLESS! … and she especially became MORE terrifying once she got hooked on the crack pipe! 😨 I’d definitely #rewatch this again someday because the acting by everyone and the production was astounding🌟4.5/5🌟 ▪️💭🤔 AFTER THOUGHT: I think what I really enjoyed about this show was that the protagonist was female…. I also liked the role of the savvy female detective who was on her case, trying to catch Griselda Blanco in order to bring her & her drug empire down. And I liked the roles of all the characters who were so loyal to her AND the enemies who HATED her & wished to annihilate her!…. All those portrayals were very, VERY good!! And, of course, I also liked it as a #1970s and #1980s time period piece."

"Sofia Vergara is excellent in the lead role of Griselda Blanco, a self made Queenpin in the Miami drug trade. Any fan of Narcos will love this limited series based on a true story. With the use of prosthetics and makeup, they tried to mute Vergara's beauty for the role, because if you Google a picture of the real Griselda, you will see that she is a hard looking woman, to put it mildly. Very well done and a quick binge with just 6 episodes. 8.5/10"
