"What a disappointment. This was incredibly gory and dumb. There was nothing eerie about this movie compared to the first one. The actors and their smiling were over the top, dramatically ridiculous. I gave it one star for the scene with the mother at the clinic but that’s it. "

"Even more chilling, twisted, and horrific than the first one. The movie itself is full of twists & turns, jump scares, disturbing imagery, and suspense. But Naomi Scott absolutely delivers a performance in this- she's simultaneously terrified and terrifying. A disturbing sequel, you won't want to look away but you won't want to look either. Kept me locked in the entire time while expanding on a disturbing universe of gore and trauma."
"I'm pleasantly surprised to say that I definitely preferred Smile 2 to the original film. Naomi Scott really gives it her all as Skye Riley. It was cool to see Kyle Gallner return and to see Lukas Gage as Lewis after recently seeing him in Dead Boy Detectives. The use of sound is interesting, the unique camera work, and some great jump scares. I don't know about you but I wouldn't mind a Skye Riley and Lady Raven duet."
"This is a perfect example of how you do a sequel. They picked up where they left off, they expanded the lore, more creative kills, creepy visuals cranked up a notch, and an excellent twist. There was also a really good back story about a pop star and we get to see the behind the scenes of who she is and why she is such a damaged person. The story was so good ig they took out the scary parts they could play it just as a drama. Everything about this was an improvement of the original, and I really enjoyed that one. They do give you an epic finale scene that sets up the potential for another movie and I am looking forward to it. A must-see for fans of the original and anyone into horror.
