"I love this movie. Watching a nerd imitate what he thinks cool people do is hilarious, and is supposed to be ridiculous. The story is a bit of a mess, it should have been made without venom, but it's still far from horrible. It absolutely doesn't deserve all the hate it gets."

"I think Sam reimi had more scaled back plans for this movie but due to executive meddling we get three conflicts in this movie that don’t exactly mesh well together. Whatever the black suit/dark side is the main attraction anyway and I love it for that. Something that gives you more power yet amplifies your negative traits is pretty compelling stuff. The current MCU wishes they could have a PG-13 movie that had this much edge and be funny at the same time. "
