"I'm a fan of Spider-Man and I think Tom Holland is, without a doubt, the best of all who have played him. But this movie was a bit of a disappointment for me. The acting, comic relief, and action were all fine. My problem was with Mysterio. I hated that his powers were a sham. The drones projecting giant monsters and a false reality that Spider-Man then had to fight was just lame. So many other things that they could have done besides that. Almost anything else would've been better. 6/10"

I liked this one better than Homecoming by a smidgen. Jake Gyllenhaal played a perfect Quentin Beck/Mysterio. We got to see much more MJ (Michelle Jones-Watson played by Zendaya) than in the first film. It was a perfect balance of awesome action, superhero teenager angst, and comedic moments. Of course Zendaya and Holland have a wonderful chemistry onscreen...and off! I hope Hollywood doesn't ruin their relationship.
My daughter and I have been watching all of the Spider-Man movies, all of which I've seen multiple times. The first time I watched the Holland versions, I watched them in order with the other Marvel movies. This time we've only watched the Spidey movies. If you've never seen these Spider-Man movies or any Marvel movies (???????), I definitely suggest watching them in order because Spider-Man is in other Marvel movies and they are all tied together. Sequential viewing makes them better!

"Astoundingly disappointing. It contains only a few good scenes."

"I liked the action, but compared to the other two movies in the trilogy, this was the worst movie in my opinion, but I did like how they included Peter’s emotions on Tony Stark’s death."
