"Lee Daniel’s tried to hop in his Jordan Peele bag. Keyword “tried” but it was a lot that I liked and some I didn’t like mostly in the 3rd act. I’m a big horror fan so I’ve seen it all. But I did somewhat enjoy this film especially Andra Day and her Banter with her mother. Worth the watch "

"The acting was superb in this some of these lines i have no clue how these actors kept it together. Now if you were expecting this to be an actual retelling of the murder house which Zak bagans purchase this movie is so loosely inspired it doesn't come close but the story it does tell is super interesting and a different family then your typical run of the mill family possession movies. I would definitely recommend the ending was pretty insane "

"3.5 this movie was pretty good. I think it was a drama and not a horror. I still believe the only demon in the house was the mother until she changed her ways but who knows. I rate it a B"

"I want to give this a 4 but was barely watching this. Was watching with family and they wanted to do word search during it. I did really enjoy the main actress dialogue made it a lot more enjoyable. Especially with the mom character. And liked the mom and kid storyline. Plus the “horror”moments with kids. I think the last act took my enjoyment away completely. It was just the exorcist again. But a lot more supernatural. Again really didn’t watch much mainly heard and listened. Even then missed a little bit because have been sleeping the best. Occasionally cheesy dialogue which made me laugh. Which does not at all seem intentionally funny. Good watch but left me a little disappointed. Did enjoy it a lot more then most okay horror movies I’ve seen which this basically is. Without the mom and kids storyline. Lastly very very weird moments. I’m talking about very specific scenes in general. Which didn’t feel natural just felt done to give shock value. Which It did shock me."
