"Tokyo Drift is the most inconsistent F&F movie so far. It had really good highs, and extremely low lows. Overall I love the Tokyo aesthetic, and drift racing will always be cooler to me than drag racing, but I struggle to call this a great movie. It's cool for some scenes but the story is lacking and downright boring at points. I enjoyed this one the least so far. "

"⭐️⭐️1/2 Actually way better then I remembered. This really introduced me and probably most Americans to Japans car culture. It was such a eye opener at the time because it was so different from car culture here in the states. From the way they drove there cars and how super modified they were. I didn’t know anything about drifting or how serious the car culture out there was at the time. The plot to this film ain’t the best but the races are exactly where it’s at. I just think the lead could have been different and it would have been much better. I completely forgot Bow Wow was in here and he actually played his role decently. After this film I never watched a Fast and Furious film again. So I’m looking forward to the rest of the franchise."

"Timeline wise, this movie takes place AFTER the 6th movie and BEFORE the 7th. I definitely recommend watching it in timeline order and not film release date order. Also, at the end of the 6th movie, there is a short cameo of Jason Statham which takes place in Tokyo. DON'T WATCH IT until AFTER you watch Tokyo Drift or it will give away a huge thing that happens in Tokyo Drift. At the end of F&F6, as soon as you see a scene with Tokyo come on (I believe it's either just before credits begin or right after a short bit of credits scroll up), PAUSE IT! Watch Tokyo Drift, then go back and watch it.
Also, you should know, only Han from the other movies is in this movie, with a short cameo of Dom at the very end. This is about teenagers street racing in Tokyo. Good movie but not like the others, with a different and younger cast and perhaps, audience. It's a fun movie and really enjoyable as long as you know that going in."
"My third favorite Fast film, it features some memorable characters and fun Soundtrack. I love the drifting sequences."
