"A wonderfully wacky film. The main plotline is really there as an excuse, as the real joy is in the little moments of comedy that fill this whole movie. There are a few moments that didn't age well, though I think they're generally presented pretty respectfully. The humor really does *not* punch down, trading the low-hanging punchlines for absurdism. The film is very blatantly a product of the late eighties, so it does help to have a general knowledge of the cultural symbols and icons of the time. Overall, it's one of my favorite movies and I regularly find myself quoting it. "
