At first, I thought the imagery was a little cheesy and too perfect but I ended up falling in love w/ the writing style. It’s serious storyline of kidnapping, rape, and murder could use lighter tones and I appreciate it. The characters leave you wanting more and I didn’t want it to end. Thanks for the hangover.

A sad story of a woman trying to make her own way in the world through lies and sex. It’s all fun and games until you fall in love.

It’s just amazing! The main characters are always searching for more and it’s entirely relatable. The twists and turns, the fragility of words and their consequences, are a main focus of the story. Truly loved this book.

Love love love love! A story of resilience and strength. Will keep close to my heart for forever.

Quirky and rigid. The main character is so set in her ways she is unable to be pricked by any inconveinence that is thrown her way. That is until, the death of her mother and a surprise pregnancy at 45. She learns to tear down her walls and view life in new perspectives.

Easy and fast paced. A book about finding where you belong and making your own family.

The book can be slow and there isn’t a lot of “magic” going on. A good prequel to set up Practical Magic as for the history behind Sally and Jilly.
