Rounded up from 4.5 ⭐️ “The Do-Over” is a great rom-com. A very wholesome book, it was the perfect mixture of laughter, teasing, and cute romance. -as well as a bit of anger. I felt very empathetic for Emilie. I love her character development. In addition to how she took control of her life. Love the Taylor Swift references, as well!! ~ Constructive Criticism: Personal Preference: I wish Nick was going through the time loop, as well. May have been too predictable, but it would have been great if he remembered all the other past Valentines Days. I also just find it weird how the author wrote “his eyes were hot” to describe Nick in a few scenarios. Usually, that would be used to describe someone angry. For context, Nick wasn’t angry; there was burning tension between Nick and Emilie. I understand most events in the loops were caused by Emilie’s actions. However, in some cases, things didn’t add up.

A delightful quick read! I really want more; I just love this series!! I love how we got a peek into Cardan's past life. In addition to how that was portrayed to us; the illustrations were so beautiful! We didn’t get to see much interactions between both Jude and Cardan in this book, but the few times they did were adorable. They are just so perfect for one another.
