Wonderful little story that tugs on the heartstrings. The ink art style is also beautifully suited to bring the story to life.

Though not as gripping as the series, the film still managed to tell a story that utilized the title character well. Definitely gave off Dark Knight vibes with Andy Serkis’ character exhibiting hints of the Joker and Luther portrayed much like Batman in others. Not quite as good as I was hoping but was nice to see Idris don the coat of Luther again.

Another solid special from Rock. Could tell he’s still frazzled from the slap as he fumbled over his words a bit when he got to that section, understandably so.

A true classic and pillar within the sci-fi, action genre. An absolute must watch.
