The First season was fantastic. I loved the story. I loved the costuming. I loved the actors. It was great. It was incredible. I was waiting with baited breathe for the second season. When they announced it would be the Finale I was bummed but what can you do? Covid killed a lot of good things. The series finale however, in the second season was a complete and utter letdown. I have never disliked a series finale, so much bar nothing. I almost wish they hadn’t even bothered. The acting was still fantastic. The costumes were still amazing but whatever they had intended to do for a second season and I really can’t imagine it was what they served up as the Finale. The series ending was awful. I just absolutely did not like it, it was very disappointing, because like I said, I loved the first season. I thought it was incredible.
