SUCH A GOOD BOOK! The characters are great, you grow to love (or hate) them very early in the book. What I love about this book is that it started out as a very normal read, it was pretty slice of life like, but it ended in murder and vampires. There wasn't a time I wanted to put this book down! If you're interesting in reading about a group of southern ladies protecting their family and generally just going through life, I would recommend this book. There's not a lot I can say plot wise without spoiling it! Genres: horror, slice of life, thriller, and a bit of mystery thrown in. Uncommon Triggers (happens only once or a few times throughout the book): gore, r*pe (the scene is not described, but it describes the aftermath), nudity, s*x (this is not a sensual book, there are 3 scenes and are not made to be romantic), gross use of insects. #horror #fiction Overall a 9/10 read for me.
