"This is an incredible documentary series showing the interpersonal lives of animals, without making up a fake narrative. For example, it would not have been possible for them to follow and keep track of specific penguins like it was with the other animals in this series. However, some documentaries would have pretended that they could so that people could get attached to them like with the other animals. I respect this documentary for instead just showing specific events as they happen to penguins and not pretending they are following specific ones. In general this is an amazing documentary that shows just how complex the social relationships between animals are. #bbc #davidattenborough"
