Kiyotaka Ayanokoji has just enrolled at Tokyo Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, where it's said that 100% of students go on to college or find employment. But he ends up in Class 1-D, which is full of all the school's problem children. What's more, every month, the school awards students points with a cash value of 100,000 yen, and the classes employ a laissez-faire policy in which talking, sleeping, and even sabotage are permitted during class. One month later, Ayanokoji, Horikita, and the students of Class D learn the truth of the system in place within their school...

"Season 1 Review This is a show with one of the best plots I’ve seen. It takes a concept where you have a school that only the best of the best can get into, and how you preform in that school is almost life of death. It starts out with the students each receiving 100,000 points, equal to 100,000 Yen. You gain more points every month, what the students don’t know is that the points are given out based on your value, so you don’t want to blow them all. They live in a separated area from regular people, in the area they can buy anything with points. The main character is an almost mechanical human being with an interesting past named Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, he hides what he is truly capable of, but how long will he be able to. Suzune is an icy girl who is trying to ascend the ranks to reach class A from the lowly class D. She doesn’t have any friends and is ok to keep it that way. We have the joyful Kikyo Kushida, she is trying to make friends with everyone and she won’t stop until she does, but it’s not always happiness for her. That’s it for the main characters in class D. The rest of the characters are up to you to discover. ◼️SPOILERS◼️ the plot was good, I did want to see some more character development, because honestly there wasn’t much. The plot twist at the end was actually surprising to me because I thought it was going to be that he hated that when he was a kid, but no. Other than that the last section lasted a bit long, like 5 episodes or so, just seemed to long.◼️SPOILERS◼️ I wasn’t a big fan of Horikita, I’ve never liked the icy girls like in “Haganai” or “My Teen Romantic Comedy”. So that wasn’t a benefit, but just my taste. The main character was good, not one of the best that I’ve seen. This is a show where the plot was just really good the characters just needed to be ok really my rank would be ⚡️87/100⚡️"
