"I haven't seen the original anime, so my opinion is purely from watching this series. It feels like "a swing, and a miss." So much potential there for something great, but fell short. Good characters and action, but too much filler outside of the main storyline. If you took out all the filler this series would have been about 3 or 4 episodes long. It's a shame. I give it a 5/10."

"*Three Episodes in* This adaptation has the surface aspects of Cowboy (I like the costumes, sets, and CGI, they did a good job bringing the visuals to live action) but none of the tact, maturity, restraint, or sophistication of Bebop. Its apparent when Spike and Jet Black are calling each other aszholes and Faye drops the first F bomb. 😒. If you honestly like this show and haven’t seen the original anime, Watch the first episode and compare the two. Which is more tasteful? Why doesn’t Netflix go ‘The Wachowski route’ and make a live action show highly influenced but independent from anime? "
