"Although the book is never outright horrifying, it's a lot scarier than that 80's movie. It's very much a Stephen King book, kind of meandering and very long winded, and some of the ideas are very weird. (like really what is with the turtle and the ******** amongst kids?) It was however a good book though. "
"Genius writing, an epic plot and a couple moments you just have to skim over and ignore so you can enjoy what is otherwise a masterpiece of horror fiction. "

"I read this book when I was 12. Finished it the day before my 13th birthday. I have been wildly obsessed with IT since I heard the 2017 film was coming out. It has been 6 years and I still think about this book and its adaptations everyday. I'm obsessed because of the nostalgia this book brings me but it's hard for me to enjoy some part of it. Stephen King is my idol, but I feel like this book goes on and on and includes some unnecessary scenes. Ifykyk. But I love it. I love the characters. I love the films it is a key source of nostalgia. It will never leave me and for that reason I have to give it 5 stars."
