"The first scream came from the snowbound railwayman who felt the fangs ripping at his throat. The next month there was a scream of ecstatic agony from the woman attacked in her snug bedroom." "Now scenes of unbelieving horror come each time the full moon shines on the isolated Maine town of Tarker Mills. No one knows who will be attacked next." "But one thing is sure." "When the moon grows fat, a paralyzing fear sweeps through Tarker Mills. For snarls that sound like human words can be heard whining through the wind. And all around are the footprints of a monster whose hunger cannot be sated..."--Back cover.

"3.5⭐<br/><br/>"There is nothing of God or Light in that heartless sound - it is all black winter and dark ice. The cycle of the Werewolf has begun." <br/><br/>This is a different sort of King book - it's a minimalistic story, and (if this makes sense) it almost reads like a very violent children's book haha.<br/><br/>I liked the illustrations, and they added a lot to the story. Cycle of the Werewolf was fairly enjoyable, but I just didn't love it. I think the second half was better than the first."
"Loved the suspense! Quick read, enough detail and mystery to keep you hooked."

"The Book is Great, and the Illustrations by Bernie Wrightson bring it to life in a creepy way, however one flaw from the words to the pictures is that one main character is in a wheelchair but the words say it's an electric wheelchair, this book sense it short then the other Stephen King books is perfect to read for beginners as it's short, and split up into mouths as chapters instead of numbers. It's also the book from Stephen King for The Movie adaptation Called "Silver Bullet" "
