A young hospital security guard with a disturbingly unique taste in women. A maternity doctor with a horrifically unusual appetite. When the two of them meet, they embark on a journey of self-discovery while shattering societal norms and enraging in destructively aberrant behavior. As they unwittingly help each other understand a world in which neither of them seems to belong, they begin to realize what it truly means to be alive...and that might not always be a good thing. --back of the book

"I had to contemplate my sanity for being able to finish this entire book. This is by far the most fu**ed off story I have ever read in my life. A necrophiliac hospital security guard meets a maternity doctor that eats dead babies……this is just the tip of the ice berg as to how deep this book goes. Please read with caution!"
"Awful. The depictions of violence and abuse in here are something you’d think a 12 year old would write when they’re mad at their parents. Shocking just to shock. I’m not new to extreme horror/Splatterpunk/whatever the hell this is genre, but the internal, (and external for that matter,) dialogue is so cringey. Some parts of this book are written very well, and the other 92% of the writing is akin to something you’d find on an incel blog. If you want to read gore just for the sake of gore, there are PLENTY of other novels/novellas/short stories, (whatever,) out there that serve it up, without the immense amount of cringey dialogue. Doesn’t live up to its reputation. I recommend skipping it. "

"I love extreme horror, so my problem with this book isn't the gore and shock, it's that the protagonist is unbearable and annoying I wanted to shove him in a locker the entire book, he was so unbearable that it took away from the shock the book was meant to provide. "

"this is the book that got me into splatter punk :-)) some of the most vile stuff I’ve ever seen on page. incredible narrative voice, and although the ending disappointed me a little, I found myself revelling in that sickening edge and caring about these foul little people!! would not recommend due to it’s contents but mostly enjoyed it :-) 3/5"
