"I’m a huge Harry Potter fan but not a huge reader. I’ve been watching Harry Potter since I was 4 years old. I am currently 25 years old, and I read the books just to be able to claim super-fan status legitimately. A whole new world was opened to me. I thoroughly enjoyed reading them, and I can’t believe I thought I was a fan before. I am sorry that it’s over but glad I got to experience it. Highly recommend. "
"Amazing series!!! The character development is amazing, Rowling does a great job at showing that many of the characters can’t be labeled as either good or bad, because they have a bit of both in them. The plot is so full of twists it will be hard to put down! Rowling did an amazing job at making this series intriguing and homey. "
"Trans rights are human rights. JKR's bigotry has tainted the series, and you can't interact with the brand without giving her money, and you know she is going to spend that money trying to deny trans people human rights and basic dignity. There is no longer a way to consume anything Harry Potter ethically. If you continue to engage with the series and brand, then sorry you're not an ally to queer folks. Your choice, but you don't get to support lgbtqia+ folks while also growing the wealth and reach of a bigot whose stated purpose in life is to divide and destroy queer solidarity and eject trans people from public life. You can do one or the other. Not both. For the love of human rights, go read a different book. "
