"It feels wrong to give this three stars but I’ll explain. I’ve read a few Poirot mysteries before but I went into this knowing nothing about it except that many consider it to be Christie’s masterpiece. Whether it’s because she set a trend that continues to today or because I was expecting the unexpected, I guessed the murderer extremely early on. So when it was revealed, I had less of an “oh my god WHAT?!” response and more of a “ha, I knew it” response, which is arguably way less fun. Therefore, my reading experience was just okay. That being said, I absolutely recommend this one if you haven’t read it. Even if you end up in my camp, it’s a fun ride and, come on, it’s Agatha after all!"
"Very well written, amazing twist."
