And there is a thrilling twist at the end!!" —Reese Witherspoon“Will keep you up. In a ‘can’t put it down’ way. It’s ‘The Talented Mr. Ripley’ with XX chromosomes.”—The Skimm“Deliciously duplicitous. . . . equally as twisty, spellbinding, and addictive as Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl or Paula Hawkins’s The Girl on the Train.”—Library Journal (starred review)Amber Patterson is fed up. She’s tired of being a nobody: a plain, invisible woman who blends into the background. She deserves more—a life of money and power like the one blond-haired, blue-eyed goddess Daphne Parrish takes for granted. To everyone in the exclusive town of Bishops Harbor, Connecticut, Daphne—a socialite and philanthropist—and her real-estate mogul husband, Jackson, are a couple straight out of a fairy tale.Amber’s envy could eat her alive . . . if she didn't have a plan. Amber uses Daphne’s compassion and caring to insinuate herself into the family’s life—the first step in a meticulous scheme to undermine her. Before long, Amber is Daphne’s closest confidante, traveling to Europe with the Parrishes and their lovely young daughters, and growing closer to Jackson. But a skeleton from her past may undermine everything that Amber has worked towards, and if it is discovered, her well-laid plan may fall to pieces. With shocking turns and dark secrets that will keep you guessing until the very end, The Last Mrs. Parrish is a fresh, juicy, and utterly addictive thriller from a diabolically imaginative talent.

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Obsessed with this book. Nice build with the relationship between Daphne and Amber, Jackson. I LOVED the way this wrapped up."

"It had the bones of a potentially great thriller but sadly the writing just wasn’t up to par imo. The first half of the book is almost painfully repetitive at times and the way some of the situations were handled were damn near unbelievable. It’s not bad…it’s just not good either. "

"2.5/5 Almost DNF it. The first part of the book was just INFURIATING to read. Not only is the character unbearable, it felt almost repetitive. But, then it got good in the second part of the book. There were a lot of TWs, but it was executed in such a manner that I really understood how horrendous the acts actually are. Lastly, the style of writing was easy to read, but it wasn’t stellar in a way. "

"I loved this book! I love it when rude, twisted people get what they THINK they are after and it ends up being the exact opposite. Glad for the happy ending for Daphne! "

"4.5 ⭐️ I went into this book blind and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I became completely invested. I don’t want to give too much away but this story falls somewhere in between “the grass is always greener on the other side” and “be careful what you wish for because you just might get it”. I ended up figuring out one of the twists but there were still plenty of surprises. TWs: abuse and sexual assault."

"So many twist and turns. The book goes from one perspective to another which makes it even more interesting. Some of the comments from the husband had me floored that someone could be that psychotic "
