"A new and inventive entry in the horror genre, not an easy feat considering that most everything has been seen and done already. I really appreciate the twisted scenes of "self-harm", they were quite shocking, so much so that I caught myself saying "Damn" out loud more than once. 😲 Definitely one of the better movies in this genre of 2023. Highly recommended for the horror fan that isn't squeamish. 9/10"

"Oh MAN what a shockingly cool premise. A brutal af well-acted horror movie are you kidding I’m so excited LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Okay so a group of teens are using an embalmed hand to contact spirits, which is such a rush that they basically become addicted to the ride. Of course being hooked on anything will always end up being dangerous in one way or another, no exceptions here. As any addict does, they push things a bit too far. On the real y’all some of it was legit hard to watch. Like in a *really* great way. I honestly find it hard to be surprised by much anymore when it comes to new movies in this genre, likely because I’ve seen all the old concepts get repeated so many times. I truly had fun with this one. I believe I yelled ‘h€ll yea’ out loud several times throughout. Also ‘nice.’ And ‘noice.’ TO SUM UP: do yourself a favor and watch this one before I get too hype and spoil the whole thing for everyone "

"I waited so long to watch this film because it was so hyped up. So I just really wanted to watch it with a clear mind. But I must admit you’ll really overhyped this movie and I think that affected my viewing pleasure. I remember hearing this was one of the scariest horror films or something to that effect. Which had me spending majority of the film looking for that reaction. I’m not saying it’s not a great horror film because it is. It’s just not really that scary to me but it’s a very well crafted with great actors. I don’t know if it’s because this film was made by YouTubers so they were able to drum up this false hype about it being so scary. I kinda wish I went in not even thinking about that because I would have enjoyed it more. Still it’s a great piece of horror that you should see at least once. This was more of a rant than a review but sometimes it just happens like that."

"A+ movie. The kids were dumb, the parents were too. I did like the mom because she knew when the kids were up to something even though she failed to act on it. The movie was really good. Tip for life: don't play with demons."
