"So far IFC have been killing it with the movies they’ve been releasing. Oddity is a great horror-ish movie that doesn’t seem to be getting a good theatrical push, but the internet is loving it. What I like about this film is its creative super natural, psychic use, combined with murder. Plot twist was genuinely jaw dropping. My big issue with this movie is the pacing in the first half. Although, the movie was building up I found it more of a yapping sesh with a bit of goodies sprinkled in to barely keep you intrigued. However, this ended up working because I was so invested once everything started rolling. Ending was kinda funny, pretty much showing that Ted has sealed his fate, but I would’ve preferred to have seen him suffered a lot more. Overall, movie is great and would recommend watching it with no knowledge about this film what so ever."
