"Haven’t rewatched this since its theatrical release in 1998, but I’d bet it might still hold up today — PLUS, it had a little bit of everything — #Crime, #Action, #Drama, #Suspense/#Thriller, and a bit of a of #RomCom … So, perhaps a #fun #Rated_R choice for family movie night??

▪️@Aditya_7055: Nice, thorough review here — and, @Kimmy_w: I cannot remember anything about Steve Zahn’s performance (or Don Cheadle’s & Catherine Keeners) … but I do remember Ving Rhames’ 😎 "
"It’s okay nothing special but light fun"

"Such a stylish and cool film, paired with a clever usage of non-linear narration as well! Fantastic screenplay, cinematography, editing, and direction (the latter by Steven Soderbergh). The performances (and especially chemistry) by the leads (George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez) are incredible, with strong performances from Ving Rhames, Don Cheadle, and Steve Zahn as well. I’m particularly impressed both by the vibes of this film as well as Steven Soderbergh’s ability to adapt his style for each film. One of Soderbergh’s best films. Highly recommended. "

"ok this was a vibeeee. the pacing was weird at some points and scenes dragged on but like overall the VIBEZZZZ were just so good. i’m obsessed w steve zahn’s character he truly gave a PERFORMANCE to end all performances. my film professor def loves these typa lead guys that devolve into chaos. but it’s entertaining!"
