Samantha MacKenzie, the daughter of the president of the United States, arrives at college with a group of Secret Service agents. Samantha, however, resents their presence and decides she wants to attend school just like a normal student. Her father agrees to recall the agents but secretly assigns James, an undercover agent, to pose as a student. They fall in love, but their romance is jeopardized when Samantha learns James' true identity.

"It's a sappy romcom with hot main characters, lots of cute scenes (extra points for the entire movie NOT being just a montage) and some forbidden love. I saw Chasing Liberty years ago (came out the same time, has nearly the same plot but in a different environment). Both Chasing Liberty and this movie have something the other doesn't and I love both. I liked how this one makes the main character come across as knowledgeable, mature, and respectful. I think James' character is really endearing. So yes, this movie serves you what you want from a cute 2000's, head-in-the-clouds romcom. My ONLY gripe is that the ending wasn't as over the top as the movie ("I'll wait to see you until Spring Break?" please, pretty boy...why wait?) Overall, I enjoyed this a lot and this will be going in my list of romcoms that will make you want to swing your feet like a schoolgirl "
