In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds, lead by Lt. Aldo Raine soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers.

"I don’t like this nearly as much as I did when it first came out. But even tho my movie vocabulary has improved and now we know it’s not as simple as blowing up a room full of fascists, I still think shoshanna’s speech in the smoke is still amazing. So I guess I like it more than I hate it."

"by far the most unique ww2 film ive seen yet when one looks at plot structure. this is as if a director looked at steven speilberg's saving private ryan and was like "that's sissy sh-t, lemme show you TRUE american soldiers!!" also the accents in this were so f-king bad that it was funny. overall it was alright but other than shouting "i ❤️ america and the allied forced" it felt pointless "
