"This is a solid low budget, high concept sci-fi film in the vein of Primer, The One I Love and The Man From Earth. It is shot in a way to make it look intentionally amateurish, which helps to hide some of the cast and story problems. The film explorers the ramifications of its central concept (which I won’t spoil) in interesting ways but really doesn’t commit to any of them. I will admit I mentally checked out of the early dinner party scenes (in real life, I would find this group insufferable). This hurt my understanding of the film because some of the soap opera elements (who is/was dating who) do figure in to the main plot. 3.5/5 stars."
