At the height of the Vietnam war, Captain Benjamin Willard is sent on a dangerous mission that, officially, "does not exist, nor will it ever exist." His goal is to locate - and eliminate - a mysterious Green Beret Colonel named Walter Kurtz, who has been leading his personal army on illegal guerrilla missions into enemy territory.

"3.5/5 ⭐️ Decent war movie. Pretty graphic depiction of the Vietnam War. I watched the Redux version, which has an additional 49 minutes of (probably unnecessary) footage. It was a pretty interesting movie, just long and a little crazy. The ending turns into a little bit of a weird cult-ish vibe with a local tribe ultimately worshipping the main character. You do however get to see baby Harrison Ford briefly and young Lawrence Fishburn, as well as Martin Sheen as the main character. And don't forgot Marlon Brando as the main mad man. Probably wouldn't watch again, but I can see how it earned it's reputation as a classic. "
