"When I was watching the trailer and saw it was made by the people who made water ship down I immediately started watching it. I will first say this is a lot more tame compared to water ship down. There is blood on screen but never super tense moments. Expect near the end. I think I may like this more. Mainly I like that it’s only two animal focused. Also I really like the dialogue between the two. Plus the fox of course. It’s mainly just a move about them surviving. And the setting is very big and empty. Maybe that’s why I enjoyed it. Also it’s has such a calming a calming tone. The dialogue is very soft and the music isn’t ever overbearing."
"This is one of the saddest, darkest, most morose films I’ve ever sat through. But for all the right reasons! You’ve probably seen this one pop up on a lot of disturbing movies lists or “most disturbing animated films” and it has easily earned its reputation. This movie is so grim and so bleak it makes Cujo look like Oliver & Company. And that ending is simply HAUNTING. I’m recommending it, but only if you can handle it. "
