"4⭐️ At first I didn’t think I was the right audience for this one and almost bailed. But stuck with it and glad I did! I really just wanted to learn more about the GameStop fracas….it does a pretty good job of that but ultimately it’s a pretty cool underdog story. Another good one to add to the eat the rich files so I would say I’m the exact right demographic for that lol. I’m not so sure of the lasting impact of the whole kerfuffle though but this movie leaves you with a giddy feeling that there is one. Also Paul Dano crushes it! "
"I initially had no interest in seeing this movie because the stock market is so very foreign to me that I feared that most of it would go over my head. But the filmmakers were able to tell the story in such a way that it can appeal to a broader audience. Made for an interesting watch. 7/10"
"If you are expecting something on par with The Big Short then this will be a bit disappointing. But it is still an entertaining look at the GameStop mania and how some small time investors took a big bite out of some of the largest hedge funds. Don’t worry, it isn’t technical and you don’t need to know anything about the financial markets to enjoy the story, but I do think they could have done a better job tying it all together. "
"This was really good, I love a true story. Fun, compelling, and starring Paul Dano…nuff said for me lol. Dano *nailed* (shouldn’t be shocked he is awesome) the role, he really embodied the real person behind this insane story. It’s also nice to see a true story where I don’t have to feel that tears may be just around the corner of every event. Free on Netflix, I’d absolutely recommend checking this one out!!!"
"The endings of movies like this and The Big Short are always like: 'That was a cute story but the bad guys still win in the end. Better luck next time. Hope you had fun watching.'

"This movie was a really entertaining watch - and also captured the utterly dreary COVID driven national mood of 2020-2021 really well. "
