"Starts out as a typical home invasion but there is a great twist and a couple of wrinkles that make it a different. Without spoiling anything it does not play out the way you expect going in. The violence/gore is not just there for its own sake and its done with practical effects. The writing and acting is pretty sharp for the genre and the ending is consistent with the overall tone of the movie. If you are into the genre this is worth a watch.
