What truly shines for me are the incredibly well written and intelligent conversations between John Malkovitch and Glenn Close. Their love-hate relationship is the backbone on which this movie is built, and also fuels the plots and subplots throughout this whole film. Keanu Reeves, Uma Thurman, Michelle Pfeiffer and other actors fill out the rest of the cast. While it is hard to believe that someone could be so bored as to toy with the morality and will of another person, the story is told with amazing precision. If you decide to watch this film, be warned that there are sexual scenes, female nudity, and adult themes."
