"A great sequel to the original film as the emotions Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger and Disgust have learned to work together though still have some kinks to work out as a team!! Worth watching as the an alarm wakes the emotions to a change they weren’t ready for, as well as new emotions of Envy, Anxiety, Ennui and Embarrassment are brought to headquarters makes you feel the Nostalgia of the first film while the expand the world of Riley and her Emotions as she finds herself!!"
"Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I liked this sequel far more than the first one, but I also didn't like the first film very much. For me, what made it so amazing was the funny beginning and the end of the story; the journey was good and fine, but had me feeling the same as the first movie. The wrap-up especially I thought was so well written and explained clearly the muddy mess of emotions we're made up of while keeping it simple. I laughed and cried in the theatre watching this which is a drastic change from my experience watching the first one, perhaps the nostalgia hit more here too with some of the references. 9/10🎒💣"
"A solid sequel that was a lot of fun but doesn’t quite capture the magic of the first film. I wish the story covered all of Riley’s freshman year instead of just a one week hockey camp leading into her freshman year, considering how many anxiety-inducing moments happen during the first year of high school."
"I was going to watch this with my boyfriend, but when his roommate started watching it, it didn't seem like his cup of tea. His roommate raved about it. I can see why he liked it knowing some of his background, but it wasn't my cup of tea. And supposedly Riley is gay, but none of that was in the movie so they lied to get views, which is extremely cruel. Disney is a terrible company. "
"LOVED IT! I enjoyed the characters and of course Joy is the best. I liked how relatable the film is to adults like really it was meant for adults to see it not just the kids."
