"If a super hero movie was made by Quintin Tarantino. Gritty, gory, colourful, powerful, emotional. It also has great acting and a fantastic story. I also think this is Chloe’s best movie, what a little kick ass! ‘I’m just f…ing with you daddy!’ 😂"

"Chock full of bloody fun violence , dark humor, raunchy teen dialogue, and a few actually interesting moments. I loved this as a kid and still enjoy it. This is a perfect blend of comedy and violent tones, with a lot of fun action sequences and maybe even some inkling of a deeper message. Kick-Ass did the violent, realistic, dark humor superheroes before it was cool and mainstream (i.e. The Boys), and it's totally worth a watch just to see how they portray it. I love Hit Girl in this and ATJ is a standout as well. Personally, I enjoy gratuitous violence that still manages to be relatively lighthearted, and that's exactly what this gave me, which is a unique but distinctively fun combination."
"The comic always seemed to hate its own characters and premise with almost venomous acrimony, the movie manages to be exciting, clever, fun, while also not sugarcoating how trying to emulate comic books in real-life is stupid and dangerous. This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite movies and the sole reason I’ll watch any Matthew Vaughn film. "
