"I’m into history and have an interest in this particular period. I was very much looking forward to seeing this series. Julianne Moore was fantastic. There was some very witty dialogue in this script, and plenty of intrigue. That said, I found the series an overall disappointment due to the flagrant liberties taken with history (that were completely unnecessary for dramatic purposes) and the lack of character development allowed for the King, or in truth most of the characters. Very sad; was hoping for much more of this series. "
