In the tradition of Anthony Bourdain's "Kitchen Confidential" and Gelsey Kirkland's "Dancing on my Grave" comes an insider’s look into the secret world of classical musicians.
From her debut recital at Carnegie Recital Hall to the Broadway pits of "Les Miserables" and "Miss Saigon," Blair Tindall has played with some of the biggest names in classical music for twenty-five years. Now in "Mozart in the Jungle," Tindall exposes the scandalous rock and roll lifestyles of the musicians, conductors, and administrators who inhabit the insular world of classical music.

"This is absolutely my favorite show of all time, and I was extremely distraught to have found it cancelled after so few seasons. As a lover of classical music, and both comedy and drama filled shows, this show satisfied my every desire for a fantastic series. In addition to the mild comedy and intriguing dynamic that is given from the perspective of those within the New York Symphony, a drawn out love story is a subtlety, and adds a fantastic arc to the entirety of the show. In addition to all of this, fantastic performance by Gael García Bernal and his counterparts Lola Kirke( a somewhat underrated actress), and Michael McDowell. The actors really provide a unique perspective of those who sacrifice a large salary to do that which they love. 100% recommend. "
