"This series definitely held my interest — I know this type of show isn’t for everyone, but I tend to gravitate toward dramas about #interpersonal #relationships, and I like being “a fly on the wall,” or the casual outside observer. 🪰
Yes, there’s a lot of biting sarcasm & bitterness between this recently divorced couple at the center of this story, and in the heat of frustration, they tend to hurl insults at each other, however, in the end, all was NOT as it seemed with the wife who suddenly up & disappeared. That little #mystery made this #drama interesting, and the best part of this show was the #narration by Lizzy Caplan’s character — Her insightful comments inside the narration added an extra layer & made the story even more compelling & enjoyable."
"I really really think this is fantastic. Really dives into all the moving parts and feels in a divorce. Unfortunately divorce has touched most people and I think this is relatable to anyone who has really gone through it. Even if it isn’t to the extreme of this one, it really hits hard. This is probably the best thing I have seen Jesse Eisenberg in. "
"What an amazing surprise! I've never seen a show that completely captures the essence of your forties- the angst, regret, and self-doubt, but also the growth, the hope, and love. Every character is well flushed-out and deeply relatable. Lizzy Caplan and Claire Danes captivate. This elder millennial loved it. Watch with care around pregnancy-related trauma."
