"I had such a fun time reading this. I read it over a couple of months, as to not force myself into enjoying every essay back to back. This is a good book to pick up if you're not familiar with disabilities and the culture that these individuals live in. The writing is very accessible and you can easily fly through a couple in a day.

I annotated this and compiled a list of my favorites, which include:
- Unspeakable Conversations by Harriet McBryde Johnson
- There's a Mathematical Equation That Proves I'm Ugly- Or So I Learned in My Seventh-Grade Art Class by Ariel Henley
- The Isolation of Being Deaf in Prison by Jeremy Woody
- Imposter Syndrome and Parenting with a Disability by Jessica Slice
- Nurturing Black Disabled Joy by Keah Brown
- Why My Novel Is dedicated to My Disabled Friend Maddy by A. H. Reaume
- Six Ways of Looking at Crip Time by Ellen Samuels
- Love Means Never Having to Say... Anything by Jamison Hill (This one made me cry happy tears)"
