"Now the 2nd book gets a 9/10 out of me. I like it better than the 1st and I feel This is more playing with the characters. The 1st half feels more like a romance novel but in the 2nd half is more Indiana Jones which I prefer. Going to read the 3rd book a tell you about it later when it gets here. "

"Indiana Jones is a good reference. Definitely more teenage romance though. I did enjoy the heavy incorporation of the rich Indian culture and religion. It was a wonderful and Less utilized setting for such novels. I would also say it reminds me of a magic-lamp fairy tale. Solid characters, wonderful suspense. I really enjoyed it."
