"Anastasia Allen has worked her entire life for a shot at Team USA. A competitive figure skater since she was five years old, a full college scholarship thanks to her place on the Maple Hills skating team, and a schedule that would make even the most driven person weep, Stassie comes to win. No exceptions. Nathan Hawkins has never had a problem he couldn't solve. As captain of the Maple Hills Titans, he knows the responsibility of keeping the hockey team on the ice rests on his shoulders. When a misunderstanding results in the two teams sharing a rink, and Anastasia's partner gets hurt in the aftermath, Nate finds himself swapping his stick for tights, and one scary coach for an even scarier one. The pair find themselves stuck together in more ways than one, but it's fine, because Anastasia doesn't even like hockey players...right?" -- page 4 of cover.

"I do not normally like romance novels. I find the plots to be dragged on a lot of the time; but i figured i was being a little too harsh with judging the genre. SO i decided to give romance another go and read this book. Spoiler alert, if you want to actually enjoy romance, do not read this book. You will most likely never want to read another romance novel again. The characters were all extremely unlikable and there was wayyyy to much spice to the point where I would have to skip pages because of how disgustingly descriptive it was (I mean if that's what you like.. you do you??) The plot seemed forced and there were many unnecessary things added. It seemed as though the author was running out of ideas for cringe dialogues so they just added just multiple out of the blue plot twists that were so horribly written i wanted to use the pages for fire starter. So, to sum up this book in one simple word: Ew. Never reading another romance book again. 0/5⭐ "
"Truly an amazing read! The world building, character development, even the sport exploration is just so amazing. I’m glad that there are more books that in this book reality so that I can continue to read about everyone in the this one, because it wasn’t just the two MCs that were well written. The two MCs go through so much but still the end is whole and happily complete, the author did a great job of leaving more to the story but not making the ending a cliffhanger. This book is candidly excellent. "
