"Very intriguing with the reveal coming at the very end. The characters were well built and I found myself looking up the Dior dresses and the real life people. My kind of book!"

"This story combined a lot of different plot points into on story. It constantly had me asking questions like: What is the connection to the dresses? Why are the women flying planes? Who is the main character related to the women during the war? As I read I found that I continued to have more and more questions. Luckily they were all answered by the end! However there was one other thing that I was contemplating while reading. I wouldn’t consider myself a hard core feminist but while reading this book I found myself getting mad at all the things the women were not able to do during the war. During the war they needed more people to help out and when the women stepped up to help they were treated unfairly and held to higher standards then the men."
"What a marvelous book. I have always loved fashion and historical novels. To have a segment of history, women pilots and their struggles during WWII, combined with fashion was an huge undertaking. Natasha Lester succeeds with both. Great character development along with sibling rivalry and to cover their entire lives was beautiful. This makes me curious to learn more about Ravensbruck and the women who were sent there. The role of women spies in WWII is under reported, this book helps to tell what these women went through. Excellent read."
