‘The Iron King is a must read!’ New York Times bestselling author, Gena Showalter Meghan Chase has a secret destiny – one she could never have imagined... Something has always felt slightly off in Meghan's life, ever since her father disappeared before her eyes when she was six. She has never quite fit in at school... or at home. When a dark stranger begins watching her from afar, and her prankster best friend becomes strangely protective of her, Meghan senses that everything she's known is about to change. But she could never have guessed the truth – that she is the daughter of a mythical faery king and is a pawn in a deadly war. Now Meghan will learn just how far she'll go to save someone she cares about, to stop a mysterious evil no faery creature dare face... and to find love with a young prince who might rather see her dead than let her touch his icy heart. Praise for The Iron King ‘God, I pretty much devoured this book.’ ‘This book was outstanding... I was totally enthralled.’ ‘I never wanted to leave the beautiful world Julie Kagawa painted.’ ‘The Iron King is a breath of fresh air after a string of mediocre novels.’ *** The Iron Fey Series Welcome to the Faery realm... "I loved the evolution of nature and the expanse of technology mixed in Fae lore and the problems that created in the Fae realm. It reminded me of American Gods. This is book 1. There is not a huge cliffhanger. Spoilers for my memory!! Ash delivers her to the Unseelie Court to complete her deal with him. Puck is still sleeping in a tree, and her dad sent a wolf to retrieve her and unalive Ash but she told the wolf bargain and the wolf left."

"Nice paced, good story, engaging, suspenseful, and overall one of the better books I’ve read"

"Loved this book and I'm finishing the last book and the full series. I will say the only thing the took some powering through was the immaturity of the main character in the first couple books, but it is a young adult series and she was 16 so it's to be expected and in hindsight it's a pretty realistic portrayal of a girl that age. So for anyone that is in their late 20s/early 30s and typically prefers young adult fantasy that little detail will make you cringe a bit but it's worth it to see the characters grow"

"This book was way too predictable and very loosely strung together. There were plot holes and unexplained parts of the story. The main character is not like able at all, and the romance is so cliche. And the reading level was so low, a fifth grader could have read it. This book irritated me and I regret spending money on purchasing it. I rate this book 3/10 and would not recommend it anyone who is older than 15."
