"prepare for the rantiest of rants

2 stars for Cain and Cain alone.

Prepare for a spoiler heavy rant, cause I’m feeling very ranty right now.

Ainsley is kind of an AH in this one. She brings a guy back to her apt to sleep with him, knowing dang well that Cain would never let that happen and would most likely be waiting for her there. Then she had the gall to be surprised? It’s like she’s unfamiliar with how he reacts. She put that guy in danger to be petty and prove a point.
Then when she gets to Cain’s, her first thought that night is
“As it is, I know there’s a giant wet spot on my shorts, and it’s getting harder to control myself. Why should I? It’s not like I haven’t slept with him before, and I’ve heard that break up sex can be pretty great. Maybe that’s exactly what we need.”
Dude. This man LOVES you and you’re considering sleeping with him and bailing again, so you can have an ******? Are you serious right now? She’s incredibly callous and honestly, he deserves better.

“Right now, this is about helping him heal so we can both move on with our lives.”

Is she freaking serious right now? This man is INSIDE HER, thinking she wants him as much as he wants her in this moment, and she’s thinking she’s getting some good break up sex out of the way. She’s so selfish.
She refuses to say his name while they are literally having sex. She only refers to him as “the monster”, dehumanizing him while she uses him to get off.

“Seriously, it would have been a pretty good way to get my anger out. He doesn’t really deserve it, but I would feel better.”
This is in regard to hitting him. Why does he even like her at this point?

Cool cool. Now she’s actually physically abusing him while screaming that none of this was his fault. Please make this make sense.

Ethan, just tell her she’s an idiot and stop trying to coax her to that realization.

“As I’m halfway up the stairs with my shirt already off, thinking all of this would have been easier if I would have just let her go…”

YES. Yes it would, Cain!

Is she seriously in the shower, upset and refusing to accept that he doesn’t accept her apology while ignoring that this makes her the biggest hypocrite of all time, and thinking she can just jerk an acceptance out of him? Cause sexy will fix anything for you, huh, Ainsley?
Jesus, I’m just hate reading at this point.
Girl has been griping this whole time (I’m only at freaking 28%) about wanting him to leave her alone and let her forget about him, but is all upset now that he told her to get out and leave if she wants to? Why are you still there? Oh, cause you’re manipulative and need him to be the bad guy who is always chasing you, while you never do anything wrong ever.

Great, now even Ethan sucks

Ainsley, you’re so stupid. You’re making this dinner so much worse than it needs to be, while actively complaining in your head over how awful it is.

“That was a long time ago, though. I’ve blocked all of that out.”

Girl, it’s been 3 months. You’re over here like Rose from Titanic

And I’m bowing out at 43% when she had the audacity to get angry at him."
